Replesta is for the dietary management of vitamin D deficiency. It is unique in that it is chewable and contains 50,000 IU of vitamin D3 per serving. Replesta can be prescribed in a variety of ways allowing for individually tailored treatment strategies. These include weekly, semi-monthly and monthly dosing schedules.

Replesta should be taken with the largest meal of the day. Adults 18 years and over Take 1 Replesta, once weekly (every seven days) for 8 weeks or as directed by your health care practitioner. Wafers must be chewed or crushed. Do not swallow whole wafers. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Children 10-17 years
Take 1 Replesta, once weekly (every seven days) for 2 weeks or as directed by your health care practitioner. Wafers must be chewed or crushed. Do not swallow whole wafers. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Replesta should not be used in people with hypercalcemia, primary hyperparathyroidism, sarcoidosis, hypervitaminosis D or Williams syndrome. Do not use if you are pregnant.
